How much is a dumpster in Sparks?

15-yard: $430 + CC Fees for the 15 yard dumpster rental in the Sparks, NV area. 2 tons and 7 days included. and food waste is an additional $50.

20-yard: $480 + CC Fees for the 20 yard dumpster rental in the Sparks, NV area. 2 tons and 7 days included. and food waste is an additional $50.

If you can pay with Cash, Check, Zelle or Venmo the 3% CC Fee will not apply.

If you are past Spanish Springs, such as, Palomino Valley or close to Winnemucca Ranch Rd, we have a small travel fee.

We do not do heavy hauling, such as, rocks, concrete, or dirt.

Are there any extra fees?

We have no hidden fees, and all pricing includes delivery, pickup, and the dump fees for your container. However, certain charges would apply but only for the following 4 reasons.

1. Firstly, any time that goes over the initial 7-day period. We charge $30/day or $200/week.

2. Secondly, any weight that exceeds the initial 2-ton limit. We charge $65 per ton over the initial 2-tons.

3. Thirdly, we have to charge for TVs, and any item with freon such as refrigerators and AC units. TV’s are $40 and fridges are $60.

4. Fourthly, no food waste unless we know about it. Food waste is an additional $50 charge at the local landfill. Please let us know if there is food as we will get fined $200 by the landfill if we don’t know about it, we will pass this fine on to the customer.

5. Lastly, no hazardous items whatsoever. If you do have Hazardous items, you can recycle it at HERO Environmental Services. Click on “What can’t go in the dumpster” to find out more about what is classified as hazardous waste. If you currently have an item that you are unsure about, give us a call and we will help you dispose of it properly.

How long can I have the rental?

Your service includes a 7-day period; however, if you need it for a longer duration, simply contact our office and check the ‘extra’ charges section for pricing.

What cant go in the Dumpster?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept hazardous items at this time, and have volume limits on dirt, concrete or gravel.

If you have a small pile of bricks or concrete to dispose of that is perfectly fine, but unfortunately if you have a significant amount of these items, you will need a container with higher weight limits. For example, 1-yard of concrete or dirt weighs right around 1-ton. If you have a small pile to throw away then that is fine, but the 2-ton limit must be kept in mind. If you have any questions, please give us a call so that we can help determine whether or not our dumpster rental service will work for you.

Hazardous items fall in the following categories, corrosives, explosives, flammable, or poisonous. With that said, the most common items people have that we can’t take are the following: Wet Paint, Car Batteries, Gas and oil.

What is the weight limit?

We have a 2-ton limit on all of our dumpster rentals in Reno, NV. That 2-ton limit is equivalent to 4,000lbs, so don’t worry, that’s ALOT of weight. For example, a typical fridge weighs around 300lbs and a Toyota Camry comes in right around 3,200lbs! Rarely do we have customer’s go over the limit but unfortunately it does happen. However, when they do exceed the limit, it is usually because they threw in dirt or other heavy items such as concrete or gravel.  Generally speaking, our service works for almost everyone, but with that said, if you have any questions regarding our service, please give us a call right away.
