How much does dumpster rental cost in Reno?
15 yard: $430 + 3% CC Fees for the 15 yard dumpster rental in Reno Area.
20 yard: $480 + 3% CC Fees for the 20 yard dumpster rental in Reno area.
Includes 7 day, 2 tons and food waste is an additional $50.
See Extra Charges below for extra weight, extra days and other items like fridges and TV’s.
If you can pay with Cash, Check, Zelle or Venmo the 3% CC Fee will not apply.
We do not do heavy hauling, such as, rocks, concrete, or dirt in our 15 or 20 yard containers.
Are there any extra fees?
We have no hidden fees, and pricing includes delivery, pickup, and dump fees. However, extra charges apply only in these cases:
First, time beyond the initial 7-day period: $30/day or $200/week.
Second, weight over the 2-ton limit: $70 per ton over the initial 2 tons.
Third, special items: TVs $20 each; refrigerators/AC units with Freon $60 each.
Fourth, food waste is +$50 at the local landfill. Please tell us in advance. Otherwise, the landfill may fine $200, which we must pass on to the customer.
Lastly, no hazardous items. If you have hazardous items, recycle them at HERO Environmental Services. For details, see “What can’t go in the dumpster” and call us if you’re unsure.
How long can I have the rental?
By default, your service includes a 7-day rental. If you need more time, contact our office. For pricing, see the Extra Charges section for daily and weekly extensions.
What cant go in the Dumpster?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept hazardous items at this time, and have volume limits on dirt, concrete or gravel.
If you have a small pile of bricks or concrete to dispose of that is perfectly fine, but unfortunately if you have a significant amount of these items, you will need a container with higher weight limits. For example, 1-yard of concrete or dirt weighs right around 1-ton. If you have a small pile to throw away then that is fine, but the 2-ton limit must be kept in mind. If you have any questions, please give us a call so that we can help determine whether or not our dumpster rental service will work for you.
Hazardous items fall in the following categories, corrosives, explosives, flammable, or poisonous. With that said, the most common items people have that we can’t take are the following: Wet Paint, Car Batteries, Gas and oil.

What is the weight limit?
We have a 2-ton limit on all of our dumpster rentals in Reno, NV. That 2-ton limit is equivalent to 4,000lbs, so don’t worry, that’s ALOT of weight. For example, a typical fridge weighs around 300lbs and a Toyota Camry comes in right around 3,200lbs! Rarely do we have customer’s go over the limit but unfortunately it does happen. However, when they do exceed the limit, it is usually because they threw in dirt or other heavy items such as concrete or gravel. Generally speaking, our service works for almost everyone, but with that said, if you have any questions regarding our service, please give us a call right away.
